Overview

Raignet is a hard-hitting but slow mono-Electric Tem with a wide technique pool and the ability to pull Electric-type attacks away from its partner with the Electric Custodian trait. Raignet is often seen in a pseudo-support role as it's able to fill its offensive needs in just one or two of its techniques, leaving the rest of its pool open for options such as Perfect Jab, Cage, or Hypnosis. Raignet’s other trait, Kinetic Transfer, drains stamina from opponents that attack it and may be preferred on teams with few Electric weaknesses.

Raignet is one of the most flexible tems in the entire game due to its absurd movepool of offensive and support techniques. In terms of dealing damage, it is the only hard-hitting physical Electric that randomly has access to Perfect Jab, Turbine, and Held Anger for coverage, as well as every viable physical electric attack save for Hasty Lunge. Support-wise, Raignet gets Perfect Jab, Hypnosis, Sparks, Cage, Ultrasound, Tesla Prison, and Electromagnetism.

The set in this guide is for damage-dealing Raignet that is very good at helping allies with Refreshing Diabolo, but there are so many viable sets that it's impossible to list. Tailor Raignet's speed, bulk, and offensive capabilities to what your team needs. 

Electric Custodian is your guiding light when determining allies to play Raignet with. Tulcan is an obviously strong partner, as are 4x electric weak tems like Loatle, Barnshe, Nagaise, Wiplump, Tukai, and certain Koishes or Chromeons.
